Kenner Six Million Dollar Man Steve Austin Cut Away Diorama “B”

Description: For your consideration is something a bit different and more unique in the Kenner Six Million Dollar Man collector’s world—a custom cutaway of your favorite bionic hero from the 1970s. Here are the details: SMDM Custom Diorama: head, torso, and hips that have been carefully opened and mounted on oak. This is not a working model and is meant to be a display piece to understand and appreciate the engineering that went into creating Kenner’s Six Million Dollar Man figure, specifically, the “bionic” lifting power in Steve’s right arm. The figure has all the key interior parts, glued in place. The head and hips have also been glued in place, and it’s a “floated” on a ¼” x 2” metal dowel, mounted on clear coated oak. This fun and unique piece is ready for display next to the rest of your SMDM collection. Note: I have made a number of these, and I’m selling off my last two, each unique. This one is being listed as “B.” I aimed to repurpose broken Kenner SMDM toys and give them a different life. Because they were non-functioning and/or severely damaged (melt marks, broken limbs, broken sockets), the figures are understandably not going to be perfect. The point is to showcase the interior workings; I hope you love it as much as I do. Again, this is a non-functional figure and is meant for display only.
