Description: This uncirculated 1,000 Kazakh Tenge is the smallest denomination of the Samruk family of banknotes issued by the National Bank of Kazakhstan. It is an orange and brown note that is dated 2014 and measures 134 mm long and 70 mm wide. Its obverse side is vertically oriented and features the national emblem, a SPARK feature, flying doves, and two landmarks in the Astana— the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) building and the Kazak Eli monument. Its reverse side shows the outline of Kazakhstan and the landscape of the Ustyurt Plateau. Security features include a 4-mm wide StarChrome windowed security thread with the tenge sign, bird, and 1000 printed in demetalized ink and a watermark of the mythical Samruk bird with an electrotype 1000.
