Green cloth with gold titles. The book has some damp staining to the lower margin of the front panel and a cup ring stain to the front board. The jacket has a couple of closed tears, and faint staining to the lower portion of the front panel. Interior clean, with no ownership markings. Van Allsburg has signed this copy along with his hand drawn monkey in a tie on the half-title page.
