My instructions to the factory were that these had to be high quality and in focus, reliable and the very brightest they can possibly be. We also asked for xenon gas instead of halogen gas as the xenon gas shines brighter than halogen. Xenon gas does cost me a lot more than halogen but the difference is worth it. These shine as a white light - not blue or yellow They suit the IPF Extreme Sport 800 and 900 series spotties by ARB as well as many high and low beam applications in cars. They are a direct replacement of your original H9 globes. The specifics are12 Volt130W (Draw 10.8 amps ea at 12V)Xenon Gas - makes them shine brighter.Shape for mounting is H9 For maximum brightness and whiteness you need maximum volts and that means you out to run a relay and heavier wires. If the globes are for spotties then I would expect you already have a wiring harness with a relay but if these are for headlights then although they will be fine without a relay they will be better with one.
