Description: Jose Ortega 1921 to 1990 Bas Relief. I’m thinking it’s modeling paint built up on resin board it is covered with a thin sterling silver sheet. Frame is stained wood. Not sure if this is a one off or a limited edition. I bought it from a Prints and multiples gallerist who had a gallery in NYC in the 70s and the 80s. It is stamped 925 on lower left. A few dings on the frame. Original sticker on piece $1350.00. Last photo is the original piece that I believe this piece is inspired by.
