Description: "DRACULA" Score CD - music composed by John Williams The soundtrack CD to 1979 remake of "Dracula", based on the book by Bram Stoker, and here also based on the adaption for the play written by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, starring Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence and Kate Nelligan. The producer Walter Mirisch assigned John Badham as the director, after his smash hit "Saturday Night Fever", and took John Williams as the composer to the project. The result was, the film was never so successful as the bradway, however the Williams' score remained great work, more than the film deserves, just as it always happens to Jerry Goldsmith. If you like the 'dark side' compositions of Williams, this is one of the BEST and the MUST along with the 'Darth Vader's Theme'. The CD from Varese Sarabande label (VSD-5250) out of print a long time ago but Varese Sarabande reissued the title the end of 2018, you can find reissue copies easily now. 11 tracks, 36 minutes of music. The disc is used, in near mint condition, the inserts are in near mint - condition (the back of the front insert has some light scuffs). It has no cut-out marks.
