Description: John Blair School STYLE Pintail Drake Full Size Cast Resin Duck Decoy This eye-catching, full-size pintail decoy is made of cast resin and painted convincingly in the style of the Blair School. It has a lot of very convincingly authentic-looking qualities that you would expect of an early carved wood decoy that's been used to hunt with, down to wear to the "wood" grain, bird shot indentations, number tags, etc. I t's unsigned, but whoever made this had an eye for detail. I'm guessing it was made at some point in the last quarter of the 20th century. I found it at a country yard sale. It weighs 45 oz and measures approximately 16.5 inches.
