Description: Offered is a concert film of famed Soprano, JESSYE NORMAN, accompanied by GEOFFREY PARSON on piano in laserdisc format. This performance, from the Hohenems Festival, Feldkirch, Austria in June of 1987, features songs from Händel, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Strauss and some spirituals. One disc, approximately 59 minutes, includes an insert with the sung texts, stereo. It is very important to note that this requires a laserdisc player to view, it will not play in standard DVD/Blu Ray or VHS players. There is a scratch (approximately half an inch) on the outer edge of the playing surface on side one. I don't own a player, and so can't test the disc. The sleeve has an abrasion along the upper edge, and regular wear along the bottom edge. I see no other condition issues.
