Description: Early US Naval Frock Coat from my collection. I think this dates to the 1870"s, maybe just post war, not sure. Very unusual version of very high quality die struck Jacob Reed London marked buttons. Not the common Jacob Reed button seen on cadet / midshipman tunics. This has some moth damage.
