Produced Under License. Please note: These were also used on other vehicles in the 1970's. Please note: The center pin needs to be ground down slightly and glued to attach the "Hurst" centerpiece securely. This Hood Ornament Needs to be replated as it has been stored on a shelf since the 1970's in our warehouse and has not weathered well. Please Note: A Portion Of The Sale Of This Piece Will Be Going To The Alzheimer’s Association thru eBay It is time to let all the Hurst/Olds and related items go:I just turned 70 this year and my kids are afraid I will die and they will have no idea of what to do with the Hurst/Olds parts I have leftand what to do with them, who to call, and what goes to what.Over the past several years I have lessened my load with the help of those loyal customers/friends, but they are loaded down with parts and/ormoved on themselves.So, I am offering the rest on eBay at what I feel are reasonable prices that everyone can handle.I have been dealing with these cars since the mid 1970’s and have been instrumental in many aspects of these fine automobiles.This H/O venture has always been a hobby/side line business for me and not my source of income.As many of you may know, I have been a mover and shaker in the Fine Arts and Antique’s business and semi-retired when Iwas 32, so I had plenty of time to fool around and got involved in lots of projects.Today my two boys are successful on their own and our family collection has numerous cars, including, but not limited to Ferrari’s, McLaren, Jaguar, TeslaVette, BMW, Etc.Some of you may be aware, I gave my personal collection of magazine and related H/O information the Hurst/Olds club a few years ago.I have been very generous in giving away to many charitable organizations (not for write offs only) just because people asked nicely.So here we are now at the end of my journey and I am asking you to do the same - 10% of all sales will be going to the Alzheimers Association(I don’t have it yet, buy my mother had it and grandmother, so I figured it will be my turn next).The funds will be collected and disbursed by eBay so you can be assured no hanky panky.
