Description: Our Hummingbird is a one of a kind whirligig / whirlibird made from ¾” finely sanded pine wood with brightly painted (2-3 coats) acrylic exterior paint and an iridescent “sparkling” head. Body length (tip of beak to tip of tail) is 6-¾” and wing span is 6-¾”. Wings are durable Delrin flexible plastic and spin (twirl-whirl-flutter in opposite directions) even in a gentle breeze. Hang from your porch, deck, patio, outside your window, or in your trees to “catch-the-breeze”. Each whirly arrives complete with eyehook and fishing line tied ~ ready to hang and enjoy! “Hummies” are available in different colored heads; see our other hummingbirds listed for choice of head color options. We have sold these at art festivals and our return customers just love them.
