Bing Crosby plays a well-known singer who decides to open a countryside inn after his singing partner (Virginia Dale) deserts him to become Fred Astaire's dancing partner. Fortunately, he discovers Marjorie Reynolds at his inn, but she is spirited away by Astaire when Dale leaves him to get married. Ultimately, Crosby and Astaire join forces and end their rivalry. Featuring the music of Irving Berlin, the film debuts the classic song "White Christmas." Other songs include "Easter Parade," "Be Careful, It's My Heart," and "Abraham."
