About the Set:T213 tobacco cards were manufactured by and used to advertise the Coupon Cigarettes Company out of New Orleans. They were released in 3 separate series from 1910-1919, measured 1-1/2" x 2-5/8", and are most famously known for using the same images as the T206 set. They are also famously (or infamously) known for being tough to find in decent condition due to the use of very thin paper stock during the printing process. The three different releases were 1910 (T213-1, or series 1), 1914-1916 (T213-2, or series 2), and 1919 (T213-3, or series 3). One really cool thing about the T213 set, especially series 2, are the different team variations. Series 2 was printed around the same time that the Federal League started luring players from the American and National Leagues. So within series 2 many players have 2 cards, one with their initial American or National League team and one with their Federal League team name on the front.
