Description: CONDITION: Two high points show a touch of wear to gilding. It is in otherwise excellent condition. This porcelain plate was produced in France by Haviland & Company Limoges between 1888 and 1896. The markings were used during this period of time. It measures 9 inches in diameter. The edges are scalloped and pierced or reticulated. The center has a hand painted scene with 18th century lovers in a gilded medallion. The outer portion of the plate has yellow panels that are richly gilded with raised gold. Even the foot ring on the back is gilded. This had to be a special order item for Haviland with such opulent gilding and hand painted detail. #E33 Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. You will be blocked from further purchases.
