The Hardy Boys debuted in the 1920s and the books originally came with dustjackets. The publisher started revising the texts beginning back in 1959. Later in 1962, the publisher changed the format to the blue spine, matte picture cover editions. This book is the first printing of the revised text in the picture cover format (first thus). There is no picture cover version with the original text. This book has the correct Carpentieri & Mular designation. I combine shipping so please look at my other listings to save money. Book will be sent protected by cardboard.
