Description: This is a hand crafted beaded necklace made right here in my Tampa Bay studio. I am a metalsmith artist selling hand crafted jewelry on Etsy under the shop name Silver Seahorse Design Studio. Constantly trying new things with Kumihimo designs. This necklace and matching earrings are done with a matte finish cube bead in a dark burgundy. I joined the stunning dichroic glass pendant by incorporating it into the weaving process. Dichroic glass is hard to photograph as the colors look different depending on the angle of view. This pendant is mostly shades of pink with streams of green running through on a black background. The necklace is finished with decorative silver plated end caps and toggle closure. The earrings have silver tone ear wires and end caps. They have irridized crystal beads that shimmer and shine woven in and also dangling. Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese weaving art form and takes many hours to complete a necklace. The finished product is worth every minute though. The pendant measures 1" wide and 1-3/4" top to bottom. The necklace measures 22-1/2" in total. The earring dangle is 2".
