Description: Group 4 Washington Antique & Vintage Patriotic Postcards. Portrait, War themes This is a nice group of PATRIOTIC antique postcards from the very early 1900s. They were published for GREETINGS as well as BEST WISHES. This is a nice mixture of postcards with scenes from President GEORGE WASHINGTON. There is a nice portrait of him, and there is one with a statement that he made. This postcard has GOLD TRIM. There are two military / war postcards, one showing I'm at prayer at Valley Forge, and one with him riding his horse and carrying a sword. This postcard has an UNDIVIDED BACK (1901-1907 era), and it is EMBOSSED. This is a nice group for a collector. These are collector items because of their age, their interesting and meaningful design, and their overall appeal to those collecting Washington and Patriotic antique postcards. They also have a nice glimpse of life back in that era. The postcards are UNPOSTED. One of these postcards has an UNDIVIDED BACK, and the others have DIVIDED backs. These postcards were probably "Made in USA". One is a vintage postcard and has a written date of 1954 on the back. These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear due to their age (over 100 years old!). The photos show the postcards and their backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
