Description: This is a vintage antique sample of barbed wire fencing. This sample features an unknown patentee and maker. It is probably a re-purposed wire. This wire is called "Grooved Center Barbless Twisted Ribbon - Conduit Reinforcment". (Ref. Unique Wires #17) This wire is a one-quarter inch wide ribbon with a groove at center and is twisted. Wire sample shows light pitting. Wire is eighteen inches in length.
