Prominently featured are the regimental marches of elite units of the Russian Imperial Guard, classic parade marches of the Russian Empire and historic military band pieces from the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05. Also presented are instrumental AND vocal versions of the Russian Imperial Anthem God Save the Tsar [Bozhe Tsarya Khranii], descriptive scenes depicting the Russian Imperial Army in battle and on the march, a rare parade piece written especially for the twenty-fourth birthday of the future Tsar Nicholas II while he was still heir to the throne, Russian soldiers' songs of the period and many other historic musical treasures.
