The embroidered gear/circle on the white fabric patch measures 4.25" across from fingertip to fingertip, and from the bottom of the gear/circle to the top of the ghosts' head is 4". There is an iron-on backing, but I would still recommend sewing the patch on.... [cover with cloth, iron on wool, heavy steam 10-15 seconds]!
