International buyers are welcome-but shipping costs will be additional. *** This is a beautiful Style 089A Gerstner Hobby / Machinist / “Sportsman” Tool Chest. This example is really in good shape for its age, but not perfect. The wooden structure of the box is sound and shows great age and color. The keyed lock works like it should. The original finish on the box could stand to be freshened up or just cleaned up and used as it is. I suspect prior to my ownership the bux may have been in a humid environment-but never abused. The front cover secures fine with the lock/latches HOWEVER-sliding the cover under the lower drawer-it is out of alignment and seems loose as it needs to be guided along its tracks into its resting and stowed position-same when placing it back upfront. As an option I can either re-line the drawers with felt of your own color choice (I have a lot on hand)-or Gerstner sells felt on a few different colors if you wish to source it from them or another source and do it yourself. Adding new felt is not a free service, as it takes time to do it properly. This box will serve the next loving home/owner as well as it did me and those before me. Chest Dimensions: 26" wide x 15-3/4" tall x 10-1/2" deep Chest Description: This chest was designed as a large hobby chest. It was also promoted as a Sportsman's Chest for hunting and fishing. Earlier versions had a removable front lid (door) that sat in a groove on the bottom. Later versions had Gerstner's traditional self hinging front lid, which slid into the chest on steel pins. Chest Additional Info: The 6-small drawers were 1/1/4" tall and the 2-long drawers were 2-1/4" tall.
