GE HD-20 BLUE HAIR DRYER - VINTAGE - BONNET STYLE

Description: This is a vintage working GE Hair Dryer. It's been used, but mostly it has been sitting in a box since the 60s waiting for YOU to buy it. The photos in this listing are from two separate occasions, but it's the same dryer. The heater and blower work and the settings dial works just fine. Check out the last photo (of the cavity door) for specs on this particular model. I'm selling cheap because: The bonnet has a gummy residue on the outside, possibly from deterioration, so I wouldn't use this to dry my hair, BUT - this dryer would look great as a vintage display in a hair salon or a prop in a movie. There was a slight machine oil residue in the storage cavity when I opened it but after I cleaned the interior cavity with dishwasing soap there was no additional leakage, which leads me to believe that the oil may have been an exterior rather than an interior contamination. Again, this dryer would look great as a vintage display in a hair salon or a prop in a movie. The hose is in great shape and the connections are firm when the dryer is assembled. The bottom of the original vintage box shows some water or oil staining. I welcome any questions or comments on this item. The shipping is actually more expensive than the dryer!
