Explanations for the 8 Pulse Modes:Mode 0: Standby state, no output Mode 1: Single Pulse Low Power Mode: when the PULSE key is pressed, the fuel injector tester will send out a pulse with a pulse width of about 255 milliseconds. Mode 2: Short Pulse Low Power Mode: the fuel injector tester will send out 50 pulses with a pulse width of about 7 milliseconds. Mode 3: Long Pulse Low Power Mode: the fuel injector cleaner tester will send out 100 pulses, and the pulse width is about 3.5 milliseconds. Mode 4: Continuous Pulse Low Power Mode: the fuel injector tester will output pulses continuously, the pulse rate is about 50 pulses every 1450 milliseconds, and the pulse width is about 7 milliseconds. Note: During the pulse output period, the MODE SET button is invalid, and the working mode can only be selected by pressing the PULSE button again to terminate the output. How to use: 1.Turn off the vehicle’s engine. 2. Connect the black clip to the negative terminal of the vehicle battery, connect the red clip to the positive terminal of the battery. 3.Locate the fuel injector which you want to test, then remove the electrical cable from this injector and connect the tester’s two pulse output terminals to the electrical connector of this injector. 4.Press the MODE SET key to select the desired pulse mode, the display shows the current pulse mode. 5. After you have selected the desired pulse mode, press the PULSE key. The tester outputs pulse(s) to the injector under test, the pulse signal indicator will light as indication.
