Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection. As the new president of the family business, Herbert Johnson exhibited uncommon faith and foresight by commissioning FKW in 1936. Wright was nearly 70 when he accepted the assignment which was to be his first corporate headquarters in 30 years. After Wright dramatically defended his unconventional tree-like column design to to the city of Racine, Wisconsin, the building received public accolades. The success of the building's design helped reinvigorated Wright's career. The structure has been widely considered a major milestone in commercial architecture, and is still serving the intended purpose. The shirt has the FLW quote "Space is the breath of art" beneath the image. Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment.
