Description: Rare and unusual Rookwood pottery vase in excellent condition. Beautiful vellum finish featuring 3 large raised leaves around the top of the vase. The two-tone gray and cream colored background accentuates the design as fades in and out from top to bottom. The vase is 9” High x 3-3/4” wide with a 3” diameter opening. The vase was used and has discoloring inside and some residue on the base. NO CHIPS, CRACKS, or REPAIRS. NO visible crazing. Impressed Rookwood flame logo on the base with a Roman numeral V reflecting the year 1905. Artist signed “SA” by Sara Sax. A fabulous and unique example of fine American Art Pottery.
