Description: I've owned this card for probably 3 years, however it was used for only around 6-8 months and was then set in storage in my house. I've taken it out a couple times and used it if I wanted to play a newer game at very high settings, but then I'd put it right back in storage afterwards. When I purchased this graphics card I was unaware of how incredibly HOT the upper 30 series NVIDIA graphics cards ran. I live in Florida. I have my AC blasting 24/7, even through most of the Winter months because Florida basically doesn't have a winter. This thing is practically a mini heater with how hot it runs so I switched to using an RX 6600 since it's so, SO much more efficient. If you live somewhere cold, this graphics card is amazing. I did put in my own thermal pads to reduce the temperatures so it runs cooler than standard, but it's still uncomfortably hot compared to efficient GPUs.They were installed properly and the GPU works flawlessly. I just hate how hot it is.
