Description: Excellent Used Condition Huge 25.5 x 8 inch Hand Blown Clear Glass Floor Vases Made in Italy. I have two of these vases for sale. There are no chips or cracks in these vases. The vases are identical. These vases are tapered. They are 6.25 inches across the top and 8 inches wide near the base then they taper in again at the base to a 4 inch wide pedestal of solid glass that is over 1 inch thick making these vases difficult to tip over. The glass is 4-6 millimeters thick around the top edge of the vases. Each vase weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces. One close up picture shows an air bubble in the glass there are several air bubbles in each vase. Air bubbles are typical in blown glass. These vases were purchased over 30 years ago from a glass shop in Seattle for $250.00 each. The vases had labels with the name of the glass company in Italy that made the vases but they came off years ago. I do not remember the name of the glass maker. The last pictures show a few ways I have used these vases to decorate over the years. Some of the pictures have tissue paper and tissue paper decorations in the vase with a strand of battery lights and other pictures show one of the vases with sea shells in it. The battery lights, tissue paper and sea shells are not included with the vases. The shipping cost is calculated by where you live.
