Estate 14K Yellow Gold Diamond X Kiss Necklace 17 inches 21.22 Grams

Description: This necklace belongs to a friend.... Offered for your consideration is this 14K Yellow Gold and Diamond "X" or Kiss necklace. I believe it is from the 1990s. The Necklace features a ribbed section and gold "X" sections. In the front of the necklace are 5 Diamond "Xs". Each Diamond "X" is set with 5 Full Cut, High Quality White Diamonds that measure between 1.7mm and 2mm. It is hard to measure as the diamonds they are hammer set. The jeweler estimated the Total Diamond Weight at a minimum of .50 carats. The necklace is 17 inches long. It measures about 3/16 inches wide. The Necklace is stamped on the clasp "KDS 14K " and a Patent number #4697315. I looked up KDS and it belonged to KDS Jewelry from Baldwin, NY, which closed in 2008. The clasp was patented in October of 1987. The metal content and Diamonds have been verified by my jeweler. The Necklace weighs 21.22 Grams. The Tongue and Groove Clasp works properly. There are no cracks, no dings and no deep scratches. Shipping includes Insurance. Any odd Blue/Pink Color on the pieces is a reflection of my camera! : ) Excellent Condition! Thanks for looking!
