Description: Six images of this 95-year-old novel are shown below. It is: The Mucker, by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Published by Grosset & Dunlap. Based on the books advertised on the back of the dust jacket (i.e., please see image #2 below), this book was published circa 1929. It measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" and is 414 pages plus two pages of advertisements. Although the entire text block shows some gentle wear only, a former owner has not been so kind to the binding. He has punched a small hole at the top spine corner of the front board (please see image #5 below) and punched two small holes at the bottom spine corner of the rear board. He has written his name and address on each fixed endpaper, and he has stamped his name on the spine (image #6) and also the top page edge. There are four, full-page, halftone illustrations in Fine condition by J. Allen St. John (e.g., image #4 below); they are in Fine condition and blank on the reverse. The dust jacket, shown in the first three images below, is not price-clipped (price: "$2.00") and is in protective mylar and in Very Good condition with some wear along the edges and folds and with some soiling and wear. Both the book and the dust jacket are in their original condition with no amateur- or professional-repair of any kind.
