Description: Magnificent museum quality example of Early American Pattern Glass, this worked fruit stand could be a collection's centerpiece. Manufactured by Adams (Pittsburgh, PA) around 1890, the "banana stand" is 10" high, 12" in length, and approx. 8" wide. Please refer to photos for detail and condition. There are no chips or cracks, and few surface abrasions or scratches. A few of the upper ruffles are slightly off in size/shape due to the nature of early glass production. I have attempted to show typical bubbles, cooling marks, and seam marks found in EAPG. See final image for a detail of one such production sign. As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, shear marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process. Shipping: I strive to preserve historic pieces AND our natural world via careful packaging using recycled and repurposed materials.
