Disneyland Monorail LE Mark 1 of 1959 50th Anniversary pin NIOB Master Replicas

Description: Master Replicas produced this limited edition (LE) monorail for Disney in 2005. It was in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the opening of Disneyland in 1955. It was produced in a limited run of 1959 which was also the year that the Mark I monorail began operating. No specific production number ID was specified for each of these monorails. Just that only 1959 were produced. The monorail is new in an opened box (NIOB). It was only opened to take pictures and test the light features of the monorail. The light features work perfectly. See pictures. It is 100% complete except for the original button batteries that were included with the toy. The original batteries were never stored in the monorail. Because of that, the battery compartment is pristine. See pictures. A new set of button batteries used to test the monorail will be included in the listing. They will be installed and the light switch turned off for shipping. The monorail was never displayed. It has been stored in its original factory shipping box packaging in a safe, dry and no/low light environment for almost two decades since purchased directly from Disney. A “MONORAIL” pin that can be worn, that originally came with the monorail, is also included. See pictures. The pin was never worn or displayed. Review all pictures for the condition of the monorail. Please note that any bright spots or white spots on the pictures are caused by camera flash or small bits of packing material that came from the factory. They are not on the monorail or accompanying stand/track. The monorail will include all paperwork and packing materials as it originally came from Disney. The original shipping box is also included. This box will be placed inside a much larger shipping container with appropriate packing materials for safe shipping.
