This is a heavy jacket-- it is heavy duty, dense denim so this jacket is not for lightweights. It weighs about 3 pounds. The label also says it is "XL" but the measurements are not in sync with this label--the measurements are as follows: Length 26 inches sleeve length 24 1/2 inches pit2pit (across chest) 26 inches These measurements are more in sync with a 2x-3x in women's clothes. It is 100% cotton denim, tight weave. It is machine wash cold, tumble dry low. It does have 2 breast pockets with metal button closure and there are also 2 buttons with denim tab at the bottom hem ( back of jacket). It is constructed using panels ( traditional) rather than a flat cut front and back. This is a strong, sturdy jacket--it's not going anywhere for a long time as it is heavy duty construction.
