Description: For sale is a handmade wooden box, constructed from padauk & birdseye maple. This was made by Robert Kerwin in 2006. He was an artist that sold his works at events around northern Illinois. I collected many of his pieces, and am now thinning down my collection. His work is fantastic and I will be listing a number of his unique boxes. This is a small box, just under 6 inches tall, with 2 small drawers. It's a unique little rocket shaped box.Robert's pieces are all very well constructed. I believe he was a shop teacher in a middle school for many years. What makes these boxes special is that Robert took the time to note what materials he used to construct them, when he made them and sign his name to his work.
