DC Electric Vehicle (EV) Motor Controller up to 285 volts

Description: We have several of these EV controllers available that were custom-built for an OEM. Designed to be used with all brushed DC Motors, particularly series-wound motors. Should work on most permanent magnet, and SepEx motors with option field control module. This controller was designed for a commercial truck application, but can also be used for street and other high performance electric vehicle applications. Input range is 24 to 265 volts; Recommend input voltage is 96 to 188 volts for road-going EVs. Controller can handle up to 300 kW peak (403 horsepower), and 210 kW with air cooling only. 500 amps nominal capacity, 1,200 amps peak. Cooling fans recommended for high load applications.
