Description: Simpson 311 Series assembled AC/DC/Ohms test probe set The Simpson 311 series probe is very specific requiring a unique lead configuration Note: this meter came in several versions and can have 1 of 2 different probe connectorsThe original 311 uses the Large Connector The larger connector is 5/8" in diameter and is a Switchcraft 2501The 311-3 uses the Small Connector - This Connector is no longer available! (my supply is exhausted) The smaller connector is a 7/16" connector and is a "Rare" semi custom connector (this is the connector in the photo of the assembled test lead) I can supply this probe with a BNC if you wish to convert the meter to BNC This meter uses 2 seperate Probes, which are connected to one Microphone connector and a separate Ground Lead: DC Probe - RG174 Coax Cable to a Black Test Probe with Custom 7 Meg ohm Resistor network. AC/Ohms Probe - RG174 Coax Cable to a Red Test Probe (Labeled "AC/Ohms") Ground Wire - Black Banana Plug - Black Test Lead Wire to Alligator Clip (Left to Right - BNC, Switchcraft 2501F, Vintage Microphone Connector, Switchcraft 5501F) The unit is presented in a Labeled, Retail Quality, Reusable, 4 Mil Poly Ziplock Bag and is wrapped with a Reusable Velcro Strip to keep the leads organized and ready.
