The Colorado state bird, the Lark Bunting is surrounded by the Colorado state flower, which is the Columbine. The birds and flowers are beautifully arranged on a purple background. Most of the photos included are actual scans of the fabric; some of them include a ruler at the bottom and or side that show the size of the motifs relative to the square of fabric shown. Some photos are ones that were provided by the manufacturer and/or fabric warehouse. The last photo shows all 29 different birds that represent all 50 States plus one that is the National Bird. The only fabric you are buying is the one shown in first several photos up to the picture that shows the selvage. The pictures really don't do the fabric justice. It is much more beautiful than a picture can show. It is cut off the bolt at the 1/2 yard length; then it is cut in half by the width the fabric. This means that the piece of fabric measures 18 x 21-22 inches. It is "fat" instead of "skinny" like the regular 1/4 yard, which measures 9 x 43-44 inches.
