Description This is a COLEMAN 502 STOVE BURNER BOWL REMOVAL TOOL (502-6221) WITH THREE SCREWS.One of the most difficult steps in disassembling a 502 stove is removing the burner bowl. In most cases, the burner bowl has rusted to the threading, and removing the bowl requires a significant amount of torque. The design of the 502 stove limits where you can grab onto to accomplish this task and in most cases, the bowl is permanently damaged when it's removed. This tool solves that problem.To use, simply remove the burner plate and diffuser rings by removing the three screws on the top of the burner assembly. Then, screw the removal tool into place. Use a 3/8" socket driver (ratchet) while holding onto the stove's fount. Turn counter clockwise. This will remove the burner bowl properly and safely.
