Description: Up for sale is a neat wood carving of a "hobo" titled Josh. He is complete with facial hair and patches on his jacket. . It is signed C.H. with a date from 1992. CH was Clyde Herman (1930-2014) of Greenville Pa. Mr Herman was a pretty prolific carving during the 1980s and 1990s. I came across a dealer who had his entire collection. I picked out the 14 I thought were the best. Most of the ones in the collection were not painted but I tended to pick out the ones that were painted. Its a neat carving. Very folky and charming. About 7 and half inches tall. Condition: Nice condition. No breaks or repairs. Dry surface. Some light wear but nothing distracting. Displays well. See photos and video.
