Featuring here a lovely mother & child set of dolls, classic Ada Lum untagged design, each individually embroidered and hand crafted. Great historical backgrund as she starting designing these during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai and her folk art creations became very popular gifts for those from the Western World. Excellent nearly-new condition, 12", mild fade spots on face. Please look closely at the signature embroidered lips, stitched fingers, and silk/satin ensemble and shoes. I particularly love the way the baby is being carried in a coordinating "backpack!"
