Description: Very large sewing or knitting basket made by Nancy Conseen, a renown Cherokee basket maker. The basket is made from honeysuckle vines and uses walnut and bloodroot for the dyes. The basket measures 15 x 15 x 8 inches. Comes with original tags and authentication from the Qualla Arts and Crafts Association. I think this was purchased in the 1980s. Excellent condition.
