"IMPERIAL HUNT SCENE" ETCH # 718 AMBER 8 PC WATER SET. The one price is for all 8 pieces. The amber glass is etched in the gorgeously designed "Imperial Hunt Scene" Pattern Cambridge Etching # 718, and the lidded water pitcher and 5 of the optic water tumblers are in absolutely perfect condition, and to find an almost complete water set almost in tact is amazing.However unfortunately, two of the optic water tumblers each have one chip to their bottom base (the top openings are perfect), as seen in the last two photographs that I took. I am told that this is an extremely rare pattern because it was only made from 1925 until the very early 1930's, making this piece up to 99 years old, and was never reproduced. As I said, the water pitcher and its lid are perfect, with only the usual "wear" scratches on the bottom of the pitcher, where scratches are generally found commensurate with its age. As you can see from the photographs, the water spout, top opening and beautifully twisted handle are all perfect. This is Cambridge's # 3075/6 80 ounce pitcher with its matching # 3075 optic water tumblers. And the most amazing this is that the top original matching lid is also perfect, with no a single chip or crack to its small round open handle and inside rim, as can see from the photographs. Even the water tumblers have no scratches on their bottoms where scratches would normally be found, and all of their open tops are perfect. As I said, only two tumblers each have a small chip to its bottom rim, as seen in the last two photographs. I only wish I had more, because this set is so gorgeous. When used on a set dining room table for entertainment, this water set must have looked really graceful on the table. The pitcher measures about 9 1/4 inches tall (11 3/4 Inch with the lid on), has a 4 3/4 Inch top opening, and has a rounded bottom measuring about 4 1/4 inches across. The matching lid measures 5 inches across and is about 2 1/2 inches high. Together, the pitcher and lid weigh almost 4 pounds. Each tumbler is the # 3075 Optic 8 ounce and measures 5 inches tall, has a top opening of 3 1/2 inches and sits on a round base with a 2 3/4 inch diameter and weighs about 8 ounces each. This water set is absolutely gorgeous and was purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island. Although it was pre-owned, it is in excellent condition except for this two tumblers, as seen in the photographs. I found it inside a closed dining room cabinet where it apparently sat on a shelf for many years, and was hardly used. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always to describe the items as best as I can. Except for those two tumblers, I don't see any other chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs anywhere, except for those scratches on the bottom of the pitcher from wear. It comes from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal. and never charge extra for packaging and handling.
