Caithness PEBBLE Paperweight Scotland Art Glass Neodymium Purple Lilac White

Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. Vintage (late 1980's - mid 1990's)Caithness Glass "PEBBLE" Paperweight- swirls of white and lavender in a body of lilac purpleglass that has a neodymium effect (as some of Caithness glass does). This was made in Scotland, and is marked (sandblasted)on its base - CaithnessPEBBLEScotlandshown in photos, although the word "Caithness" is poorlyetched and only partially visible. The video shows how this interesting paperweight reacts to three different light sources ...1) daylight through a window (D)2) a compact fluorescent bulb (CF), and 3) an old 100W Soft White incandescent bulb (I) - the order that they are seen in the video are:D - CF - D - I - D - CF - D The other photos show the paperweight under either an LED OttLite or a compact fluorescent bulb. This paperweight measures just over 2" high, and nearly 2¼" wide on the three sides,and it weighs slightly over 7 ounces. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs,but there is some signs of use ... one tinyflea bite (too small to call it a chip), on the surface nearthe top of the paperweight, and I found a very fine scratch on one side.This flea bite and scratch are shown in the final 4 photos.
