Description: Cabal At Last the Night Has a Hero written and illustrated by Clive Barker (Books of Blood, Weaveworld, Great and Secret Show, etc.) Hardcover First UK Edition - First Printing London: Collins, 1991. Export issue without a price on the jacket, probably for Australia and Canada. (published just before Harper & Row merged with Collins UK to become HarperCollins.) A more interesting production than the US edition. Spectacular wrap-around dust jacket artwork and interior Rorschach line drawings by Clive. (The US edition includes the final four stories, without the bookend story, of the Books of Blood, not found here. They are contained in the Weidenfeld and Nicolson hardcover edition, sixth volume.) Fine in Fine Dust Jacket. A nearly perfect copy save some signs of natural aging. A light toning band around the text-block, i.e. page edges, which is common with UK editions published from circa 1980 to 2000 because of the paper.. Illustrated in Clive's typical surreal Rorschach style indicative of his "Books of Blood" and other books illustrated by him. NOTE: The pictures are of the actual item for sale.
