Product Description Q & A Why choose live bait? Surviving in high salinity environment, fungus shrimp do not carry substances that affect the health of fish. It is a rare and good fish food for small fish with high nutritional value, high protein and calcium content. Does it need oxygenation and light? Yes, light and oxygenation tumbling is one of the essential factors to ensure a high quality hatching, to increase the hatching rate of the eggs of the shrimp, to shorten the hatching time and to keep the hatched eggs alive for a long time. Where to hatch? If your indoor temperature is suitable, you can choose to incubate the eggs outside the tank, or fix the in a tank with a heating rod if the room temperature does not meet the standard. Step 1 Connect the air pump to the air intake hole at the bottom of the incubator. Please adjust the air volume to an appropriate amount. Too much or too little air input volume will affect the hatching time and survival rate of abundant shrimp eggs. When you install airflow distribution device and check valve, you need to cut the hose into 3 parts and then connect each section of hose with them. Step 2 Inject clean water into the the incubator tank. Final water level is about 0.6 inch (1.5cm) from the incubator tube opening. (About 300 ML) Then, add about 10g of the coarse salt to dissolve in advance. (Note: Sea salt is recommended for the preparation of artificial seawater because it contains a greater variety of ions that are beneficial for the hatchlings to break their shells.) Step 3 Inject about 3 to 5g of brine shrimp eggs. Note: Different species of shrimp eggs have different salinity requirements for incubation. Before hatching, the eggs are placed in fresh water (mineral water is available) for 30-60 minutes to allow the dehydrated eggs to fully absorb water, and then the eggs are transferred to artificial seawater with a salinity of three percent for incubation. Step 4 Incubate for about 36 to 48 hours (depending on the incubation temperature and the quality of the shrimp eggs). After the hatching of the brine shrimp eggs, stop the pump, and turn off the distributor. Let it stand for about 10 to 15 minutes. The hatched shrimps will sink to the bottom and the shrimp shells will float up. Step 5 The hatching eggs can be fed directly. If you want to store them, you can collect them in a storage tube and store them under refrigeration. (Note: To ensure freshness, please let the fish consume the stored eggs within 3 days!) Abundance of shrimp eggs would be affected by the climate temperature and other environmental influences, it is recommended to first use a small batch of shrimp eggs for trial hatching, may require multiple attempts, this hatching equipment can not ensure the hatching rate. Installation Steps for Hatching in Tank 1. Separate the base from the main body. 2. Install the suction cup, the acrylic tube stuck in the suction cup frame. Note: this step may wear the acrylic tube, 3. Install the oxygenation tube at the bottom of the acrylic tube. 4. Put the installed equipment into the inside of the fish tank, the suction cup will be stable adsorption in the inside of the fish tank, fish tank water level please do not exceed the cover of product. Good for the shrimp egg to feed the ornamental fish larvae. Connect with air pump, eggs can be hatched within 24 hours. Can be directly into the harvest shrimp eggs, sea salt and water Simple, practical, convenient to hatch shrimp for feeding fish. Easy to use, convenient to Hatch.
