Boker Solingen, West Germany hunting knife -like White Hunter, original sheath

Description: Vintage and quite rare German-made clone of the ever-popular PUMA's White Hunter; made in the early 1960th by Böker in Solingen, West Germany. This type is almost impossible to find in any shape or form nowadays. The knife is about 10-1/2” / 26.5 cm overall; the blade is about 6" / 15 cm. Genuine rosewood scales handle provides a very positive and comfortable grip; brass pins and solid aluminum handguard. All parts are tight with no play. The blade has been re-sharpened; it is RAZOR-sharp still; fine "teeth" on the spine and the tip is intact. Original green leather sheath is in excellent condition; the leather is soft and supple. Quite a few Eurepean makers copied Puma's super-popular design; not a single clone endured for as long as the "real deal" White Hunter. This specimen is almost as good as the genuine White Hunter - solid full-time construction with superior quality thick stainless steel blade, exotic South American rosewood handle scales and a sturdy brown leather sheath. Looks like Böker did not manufacture this model for long - this type is almost ihard-to-find in any shape or form nowadays.
