Near Mint ( NM ) The record will look as if it was never played, the LP Jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable defects and no cut-out holes the same should be true for any inserts, posters, lyric sheets and the like. NM- may show some minor marks but they do not affect play. Very Good Plus (VG+ ) Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't effect listening. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are o.k. An LP Jacket may have slight signs of wear and may have a cut-out or other indentation indicating it was taken out of print. Cover has some bends and wear but no seam splits.Very Good ( VG ) Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music . Groove wear will start to be noticeable as with light scratches that will effect the sound . Labels may have writing, tape, stickers or their residue.
