Description: This Moss Stardome tent was made in Camden, Maine. All original and has the custom footprint that exactly matches the body of the tent. Excellent condition over all and there is no stickiness or old tent smells. Looks and smells like new and meets the high standards that Moss is known for world wide. Everything like poles, stakes, and storage bags, are in excellent condition and free of any defects. I include extra stake for the guy our ropes. (Note: One pole has a split on the end and the sleeve tube provided fit perfectly to correct that. Pictures are included. I put two pieces of tenacious tape on – one at the rear bottom to cover a ½” and one on a tent pole sleeve. More pictures! The Star Dome offers a very attractive combination of features--freestanding, four season shelter, screened top window, “light weight” for a four season tent of 6 lbs. 13 oz, a small rolled sized, plus a vestibule large enough to cook in or for your pet. In unforgiving high mountain environments, all that heavy-duty protection in life saving with those heavier fabrics, thick coatings and fail-safe pole sleeves that give it a durability that few of today's lightweight tents can match. The Star Dome is extremely strong, stable and easier to pitch on rough terrain because it is freestanding. Ventilation and views are provided for via a large rear window and the usual screened ceiling. The ceiling also has a zippered window flap that can be adjusted to supply just the amount of ventilation you need. The steeply curved, nearly vertical sidewalls provide a generous useable floor area of 36 square feet. The full coverage rainfly provides optimum weather protection. The vestibule/fly has a separate arch which forms a curve over the door to provide more storage space. It rolls into a compact 1 foot 4 inch by 6 inch package. The Star Dome will provide you comfortable, dependable shelter in a wide variety of mountaineering conditions with space, views and a vestibule. This is not a backyard tent! I have marked the mid and vestibule poles to make set up easier. I included extra stakes for all the guy outs and then a couple of extra ones to!
