Description: Benchmade 940S-01 D2 Red. Very rare!! # 48 of 50 made! Identical to the 940SBT Red (this is the precursor to that model, this is in D2 and the SBT is 154CM) Excellent condition. Uncarried by myself, but I can’t guarantee it never has been. Perfect condition edge. Might show a couple of light handling marks on the handles, but no snail trails or flaws. This knife does NOT have the box or papers. The pocket clip is NOT original. The clip is from a 940-1 that has been carried, so it shows wear that the knife doesn’t have. The action is excellent, with no blade play. The centering favors the clips side of the knife (pictured). I have a video I can send in messages if you’d like. I tried to include many pictures so you can accurate see condition. Not many of these around!! It is impossible to know the market value, since there are no comparisons to go off of.
