Measuring 3.5 x 2.25 this small but well executed 17th century drawing is executed in ink on paper and rests mounted with its matting measuring 11 x 9.25 inches. Accompanied with some interesting provenance, as seen verso, this came from the personal collection of Donald P. Knode who was the vice president of Merrill Lynch's Tokyo office during the 1960's. The condition is excellent showing light and appropriate signed of age for a many centuries old work on paper.
