Beautiful Copy The Yearling Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings! Like New !! Classic Title!

This is a like new copy of The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. This is a 1985 edition illustrated by the amazingly fitting artwork of N.C. Wyeth. This copy is exceptional. The binding is square, tight, and the text is immaculate throughout. There is a small gift inscription on the front free endpaper. The mint green cloth boards are spotless as is the cloth spine. The gold gilt lettering on the spine and the front board are in excellent condition as shown. The spine ends and all four corners of this copy are also in excellent condition as the images posted does show. There is light soiling to the upper page block. And of course…..deckled edges. All fourteen of Wyeth’s pieces are present and securely attached to the binding. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. The illustrated inner boards are always a very nice touch by publishers. There is little to no wear whatsoever to this jacket which comes in a Mylar protector which can easily be removed should you wish to. This copy is that nice and a wonder way to introduce a child or young adult to classic American stories.
